When I started FeMaledictions in March of 2004 C.E., my inventory included exactly one product type: solid perfumes. At that time, No one other than "Avon" and the like offered so-called "solid perfumes." I had only ten blends for loverlies to choose from back then. I started making these because my first memory of perfume is thanks to my mother's vanity. I remember one solid perfume in particular, it was a small rounded rectangle made of heavy metal and adorned with tiny jewels. It was cobalt blue with antiqued gold accents. That is what I think of before anything else when I think of "Perfume." The runner-up thought is Perfume: The Story Of A Murderer, but if I start talking about my love for that book and film - I'll never shut up. Solid Perfume, to me at least, should feel RICH. It should NOT feel like lip balm, it should NOT feel greasy and it [oddly enough] should NOT feel completely solid. It should be A Creature Unto Itself.
